Teachers of state-run schools who are being compelled to conduct online classes for students during May-holiday break have demanded the government to provide necessary measures. Teachers claim both the state government and school authorities should first conduct online training, provide internet services, computers or mobile phones at home in order to enable virtual teaching. Since the lockdown, teachers of all staterun and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) schools have been directed to conduct online classes. This decision has been taken in order to avoid any academic loss to students who are locked inside their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This question is pretty vague but answering to the ‘school fee in Hyderabad’. Hyderabad has got a range of fees starting off from 30K and going up to like 3L. School fees are exempted from GST and only a part of school fee as in the tution fee can be claimed in ITR exemption also. One has to choose a school based on the budget and quality of the schooling. Not all expensive schools provide the best education and not all less fee schools provide bad quality schooling. Everyone has to do research on fee, quality of education, facilities, campus etc and then decide to join their kids. I think I am uniquely qualified to answer due to my background. Back when I was in school (middle school and high school), I went from a local public school, a very  matter of fact  facility to a private school for girls. No, it was not a religious school - it was a school concentrating on humanities, and similarly our town had another school for boys (concentrating on sciences and other exact studies). The transition was a shock. An environment I knew for about 5 years was yanked away from me, my friends were gone (and same socio-economic mix was gone as well), and I was transplanted into the school where donations from parents were counted in thousands (on top of regular fees), school uniforms were mandatory and the building was about 100 years old.
